Josef Zbaraski is more than a typical practising accountant. He has valuable and unique experience commencing his career in the accountancy profession with a ‘big four’ firm. He qualified in 1989 with Ernst & Young passing his ACCA finals at the first attempt.
This was followed up by excellent experience in smaller accountancy firms and then senior corporate roles. In the early stage of his career from his employments with two of the largest accountancy practices in the world included secondments to Corporate Advisory and Recovery, Insolvency, and as a Polish speaking accountant he had the opportunity to become very useful in International audit.
He then moved on to a management role in a smaller accountancy firm where he honed his Accountancy and Taxation skills working on a wide range of smaller manager owned businesses.
Through the contacts he acquired during his career he was then given an opportunity to work as a Company Accountant, this opened the way for him to progress to very senior roles including Financial Controller and Chief Group Accountant with well known businesses.
He is now is practising as accountant in Melton Mowbray with Josef E Zbaraski FCCA Ltd specialising in small and medium size owner managed businesses. His main areas of responsibility in the firm are the provision of accountancy and bookkeeping services, company budgets, annual & management accounts, company secretarial and business start-up consultancy, tax advice and compliance.
